Evesham Vale Railway
22nd September 2007

I was passing Evesham so I dropped in to see if Dougal was operating. On this occasion I was lucky.
It has been finished very nicely in BR lined green. The driver told me that when it first arrived it was so worn it could barely move itself, now refurbished he says it is as powerful as St Egwin.
David Curwen built 3 of these to my knowledge, as well as Dougal there are Zebedee at the Lappa Valley and Powys at the Rhiw valley . Only Powys now seems to be as originally designed both Dougal and Zebedee have had the cab modified.
